performance chips



There arent any 'chips' that I am aware of for the Grand Prix. You can buy reprogrammed PCM's or buy a tuner and reprogram it yourself, but no chips that I know of.
 
when i here chip i think of someone who doesnt know how to modd a car, (nothing against u). normally a chip is nuthing but a resistor that fools the pcm in to thinking theres colder air coming in to the car so it adds more timing.

go with a reprogramed pcm like one from intense, zzperformance,or overkill. those seem to be the best ones out there
 
I have a ZZP pcm and have had no problems with it. I would recommend overkill tho. I will be having mine reflashed by him when I add some more mods.
 
lol, i see an add all the time on myspace that says there's a chip that will add like 15 hp,6 mpg, and something else i cant remember. i've never bothered clicking it though. it weirdly says grand prix on the list of cars.
 


that would be a piggy back chip for the intake that fools the computer into thinking its getting freezing air all the time. and actually colder air hurts gas milage. scam. waste of money.

and overkill FTW!
