People Who Can't Park

burgundybullet

Modded for Maximum Slow
Everytime it snows here at the campus people park all over the place. Now I can understand that they can't see the lines very well and whatnot. However there are 2 light poles in the parking lot. Now, since we are all in college here we should be able to stop and think, "Hmmm, 2 points make a line. If I pretend that the light poles are points I can make an imaginary line and pull up to it so my car isn't in the middle of the aisle." Apparently thats not the case. Today so happened to be one of those days where people couldn't park. The worst part about it was that we haven't gotten snow in days AND they cleared a line between the light poles so you know where the front of each stall is. I guess people are still just too stupid. Guess its time for the "You Suck at Parking" cards.

Pic of what I'm talking about. Barely can get a car through the gap. (maybe 1ft on each side)

Feel free to post pictures of the terrible parking jobs you encounter and the story to go along with it if you have one.

hahaha this happens at my high school all the time and the teachers are the most guilty. The teachers have had cars parked 3 deep just like that ( the first car parks wrong and the second follows the first ones lead and parks wrong right in front of it and then a third one comes and parks the right way behind the second car thus blocking the second car in)

This happened at my college one time. I had class early and beat all the morons to parking. Well while I parked fine and in a spot, no one else around me could grasp that concept. So by the time I got out of class, I along with the entire row was parked in and sandwiched between 2 rows. What kind of moron parks like that when you could clearly see 2 rows already nose to nose? Needless to say it was a mess and they had to go to every class and pull the students and make them move.

There are some stupid people in this world.

Well when there are no lines to go by, the first person to park determines the order and alignment. Angled parking, you pull up wheel to wheel and park. If the first person is not angled properly, you end up with that. There is no stopping it once it has begun, unless you want to look like the nonconforming idiot.

Parking is easy. I'm proud to say I got my degree doing nights while working.

What cracks me up is when people pull into my driveway. it's easily 2.5 cars in length and 2 cars wide. People constantly pull in about 10 feet from the garage and nearly in the middle. I make them move and look at them funny

Is that an Alero? My wife used to have one of those. And a black one is what rear ended my Vue and totalled it last January, which led to me getting my Grand Prix...

eh, that happens when you set the drivers license standard so low. i park away from cars all the time now, people are too dumb to be trusted.

I see no alero. I see a couple of grand am's which are basically the same thing though.

Wel they parked better today and it snowed last night! I just don't get it. lol. Guess I'll just be the parking lot Nazi a yell at people for not parking correctly.

Agreed. I hate when I see people with big lifted trucks ( most the time its woman parking like this out here) and park sideways, in two spots or just so odd that you have to park a few spots down. I'm a woman but seriously learn to park or don't drive the thing.

Reminds me of high school. There were like 3 or 4 kids with sweet jacked up trucks with big tires that were so long they had to take up 2 spots. It was never an issue because at our school we had 3 rows for parking and they parked in the back row and nobody else parked there besides them so it wasn't annoying or anything.

If they aren't parked where majority of people park it doesn't bug me but there have been a few times they want to be close as heck so the beginning of the parking row is empty. Though what really gets me is when I'm park, smalls cars around me or nothing at all come out and I have a huge lifted truck parked next to me and parked so stupid it's hard to get out.

Thanks Tex, I'll be keeping some of these gems in my glove.
My sister's going to want some for sure, she is totally freaked about her new Outback
