Bypassing most of the questions and no pic...which would allow us to help you. When I read your answer, which you've already said and I fully understand.

My only reaction to your post is... DUURRRRRR

If it's stock, and you lost the bolts, say so. I know what size they are and you can go get some at a hardware store to replace them.
If it's TOG's etc, I can tell you how I'd solve for that as well.
But .. to say... it's the crossover. Yeah, I know that part.
 


they are the stock headers. im talking about trying to get the bolts that have no head on them to screw back up through so i can get a nut on it. tried vice grips and no help...
