PCM and HID Ballast

The question I have is a two part question.

Part I: I have HID headlights and as I understand the ballast's for them are essentially high voltage transformers creating a large magnetic field in the process. Am I correct in this thinking?

Part II: If I am correct in part 1 would the ballast being to close to the PCM cause problems considering the magnetic field of the ballast?

Thanks in for any insights you can give.

Your over analyzing it. My ballast are literally 6 inches away from my PCM...no issues at all.

Thanks for the insights. I just didn't want fry my PCM.

P.S. Reptile, I have already solved the warp bubble problem. As it turns out all you have to do is flash your PCM with a picture of Chuck Norris.
