I'm not sure if this is the right section for this since it's not really tuning, so sorry if it is and could you please move it.
Anyways, I was wondering if a case learn is needed for putting in an aftermarket pcm, specifically DHP. Now, I've looked around and I know it should be pretty much plug-and-play, but I've also seen people say that sometimes youll need a case learn. I was wondering when you need one when plugging up a new pcm and how you would know?
Also, as far as emmisions go, would the vin in the pcm have to match the vin of my car? Think that'd be something they would glance at?
