passkey 3 issue

last summer my son's 01 grand prix would not start...the passkey module failed. now, after swapping engines, my 2000 gtp is doing the same thing. runs for 5 seconds, then kills. with both keys. happened at the gas station. so now I get to go through the half hour key relearn sequence, and when that won't work, i'm sure I get to buy a new module. the gm engineers who designed dex cool and the passkey 3 system both need to be publicly executed.

I have the same issue but sometimes my new key works perfectly. Just incase passlock kicks me out i use my remote start.
