Hi so just notice that when I open the passenger door the DIC does not indicate an open door nor the interior lights come on as if the door never opened I tried looking for the little push switch that used to been on older cars but only to find out these cars don't have the switches.

How does the car know when the door is open and any ideas on how to fix this issue?
 


Yeah its just the passenger door that's not triggering the DIC or the lights.

I'll also look for the push rod near the hinges should that bee in the middle of under one of the hinges?

cant remember where, i dont have a 97-03 anymore to go check on lol its obvious when you see it, just bring a can of penetrating lube.
 
well looked every where for the push rod type thing and no luck only thing I saw similar to a rod was a piece of rubber hose about 2.5 in. long sticking out from the door frame, I will post a pic of it later, other than that nothing at all.
