Does parking on a hill damage the transmission?

Not really, I would use the emergency brake when you park also. Should keep the car from moving and grinding gears. I use it everywhere I go. Makes it easier to shift from park to reverse too since the car won't have pressure on the gears from being rolled.

i hope not... my boy said its bad to park on a hill. i have a 01 gtp and this is my second trans. i wanna hook my car up, but im too busy buying transmissions.

i believe its covered in the owners manual.

I also use e-brake when in a hill less wear adn tear when gears are under the load of the car.
