Parking break goes to floor..Help...

I have a 2005 grand prix and was wondering if anyone knows how to change or adjust parking break. It goes to the floor when i step on it..
 


There's and adjuster at the bank behind the fuel tank my the lateral control arms to adjust it . Make sure it's still connected to the back of the pedal
 
I know you said they are different but on my GTP the rubber boot that holds the line in place somehow worked it's way loose and caused the same issue.
