parking brake light???

couple days ago on a real cold day my parking brake came on when i accelerated.......it doesnt stay on but it will come on if i hit the gas heavy and it stays on for a couple mins after that.......... has this happened to nebody else ???
 


if it's the parking brake light try and set the parking brake, and release it... and after you release it, pull up on the pedal a bit. coud just be the switch... but yeah, if it's not the parking brake light, check the fluid level
 


its the emergency brake .... i put it down and released it cause i got all scared at first lol i thought i drove all the way to work with it on but then i realized it just came on so thats when i tried puttin it down and releasing it but it didnt work........ ill check the fluid idk if that is it tho ,but i will let u know

after you release it, pull up on the pedal
 
i tried to pull it up after releasing it and that didnt do nehting and i checked the brake fluid it was a lil low but nothing to worry about....ne other ideas????
 


i added more fluid and it went off so u guys were right lol.....it wasnt that bad idk i guess it was tellin me it was low thanks for the help
