painting valve covers/intake

hey i was curious what kind of paint has everyone used to paint their valve covers and intakes. I'm using the L26 aluminum intake so i'm curious what everyone used on that mainly.

I was thinking of using regular base coat/clear coat.

whats everyone used, and lets see some pics so i can get some ideas

I painted my valve covers with black wrinkle paint and did silver stripes. I dont have pics yet though.

ok guys, you missed what i was saying though, what kind of paint have you used on valve covers and intakes. high temp eninge stuff, regular rattle can, actual car base/clear coat.

I know some people do the powder coat method, but i dont have the money for that plus i'm not sure where i can get it done locally.

I really want to use base coat/clear coat so that the color matches everything else on my car, but i'm not a 100% sure if it'll hold up to the heat

I used wrinkle paint from a spray can. i think it said up to 350 degrees F. It also had a picture of painted valve covers on the can so i assume it would be okay.
