First coat

I skipped all the in between coats but I am at x2 on the back side and x5 on the front on both

I have waited 15 minutes between each coat and let them air dry to the touch

Here is what they currently look like not sure if I want to clear coat them or not

I hated painting mine. I probably put 10 lights coats on because I had to spray them from both the front and back to get all the nooks and crannies.

Yeah I was thinking about doing body color but thought it might look strange so I went with the safe bet.... black

I had them black at first also, but then I went with body color. I clear coated them both times. Personally I like the body color better because it gave the front end more of a clean look. ( I also have body colored fascia) But I don't know how it would look with a car the color of yours....I don't think Ive ever seen it. Black is always a safe bet.

I am leaning towards the black and bronze theme anyways as I already have black inlays so ill stick with black im also going to clear coat them with high gloss to make them stand out a bit.

Clear them! The ones i have now i painted and i didnt clear them.. after about 6 months of GA sun and weather they started to crack... i will be taking them off to re spray and will be using an automotive clear to keep them looking good

But looks good so far!!

Hey lol the guy who sold them too me haha ^^ Thanks again i am definitely clear coating them. I will probably let them sit over night before installing them

Haha whats up... they look good! The ones i have are silver but i painted them black too lol... i will be doing a flat black come summer when i redo them..but you need to let the black cure before clearing them fyi.

Haha yeah thanks for the heads up. I havent even bought the clear yet. Planned on giving them several hours before doing anything anyways.

Get the paint from Automotivetouchup.com it will be way better then some enamel or acrylic from Home depot or Lowes.. its automotive quality paint thats what i use in my spary gun for larger projects .. ive used their rattle can stuff as well and it is amazing. You can buy 2K Urethane Clearcoat from them as well, but you need a respirator if you work with that crap lol

I still cant figure out how to get these grilles out. Dont wanna break anything or rip off my bumper lol.
when I got my grills I wanted to make sure that I could get the pre-existing grills off I used a small glasses like screwdriver and a credit card to avoid scratching the paint and pulled the back tabs to pull the grills out
