So I got me a new pillar pod from ZZP and I wanna paint it... I want it black... I am wondering if I should prime it first or not? Also should I use a clear coat or not?

Sand. Prime. Clear if you like. I would imagine that the sun would reflect off of it. Would be a distraction in my opinion.

Get a good adhesion promoter and a paint meant for interior painting. Check out SEM products I've experienced nothing but good things with there products my pillars, glove box, dash trims secs all painted.

Josh, i already told you to prime it before you made this thread.

Original dash panels were all beige along with pillars. It's been painted for the last 3 years.

OK. So today I primed and painted my pillar pod... For some reason there are like 3 spots the paint would not adhere to. So I am still working on it. Paint, dry, paint, dry till it is all covered.
