Painting on Roof?

On my car the spot where many people have roof rails seems to be fading in color. My car is silver and the lines where the rails would go is almost white and all spotty. Has anyone ever painted the strips? I was wondering if they would look good in black.

Again I don't have roof rails I'm just talking about the spots where they go.

Do it, it will probably look good in black. If not you can always paint over it

That's what I was thinking. Well I have one opinion saying do it and none saying no so its going down tonight lol. I think it will look good cause it will flow with the seals on the windshield and rear window and the sunroof.

I like it, thats how i pictured it looking. Similar to a nissan altima

I like it too. Its that noticeable but it flows well with my car.
