Painting my engine cover

Well i got bored so i decided im gonna paint my engine cover. i started it 2day so when its all done up and looking pretty i'll get some pics up and you guys can tell me how it looks

I wanna do the letters and the slashes on the top in red, any suggestions?

overlays would be your best bet

take your time and tape it off and paint them. itll look 100X better than overlays if done right

yea i would do the letteres and tape them off, and of course clear coat it!

that woukd look the best. but overlays is the best route if he doesnt want to and tape it all off

are you going to leave it rough like that are smooth it out. is that high build primer or just some cheap stuff. and what kind of paint are you going to use.

I think 3800 should be red...series in black & V6 & raiesd portion under tha 3800 series in a bright silver

leave tha slashes alone..

the engine cover doesnt get the hot right? so its ok to paint it ?

sweet, just picked up some paint for the braces and the mount things, so ill do the cover with it all too
