Painting help

Mad Monkey

The Mod Monkey
ive been doing some painting on the car as some of you know lol

today after i sprayed i noticed some fisheyes in one corner.. its happened before too.. so i wonder, to all the pro body guys out there/someone who has painted thier car before..

what are you using to clean the surface after sanding to make sure its clean?? I think im missing something.

I've always sanded with 400 grit after I put 2 coats of primer on, then wiped it all down with mineral spirits and everything stuck fine.

what kinda paint are you using air can or spray gun?? and u have to use a good (wax and grease remover) or not shyt is gona stick:th_thumbsup-wink:

Using a gun, and i used wax/grease remover, but still happening.. is there something i can use to ensure the wax/grease remover is all gone? maybe its some residue thats causing the issues.

and i use dupont wax a grease remover the best what part of the car are you havin problems with?? ground effects, fenders, bumpers???

Its no particular section , its just spots of fisheyes.. i use wax and grease remover, then wipe the surface down making sure to get every spot, then using new towel wipe it again, then again until the towel comes back clean then i let it sit for a few minutes to make sure that its all evaporated, then spray..
