thanks who replied to my post and to trannyman.
had epc solinoid replaced today and trans run fine did buy the transgo shift kit from local transmission parts store but elected not to put in just wanted to make sure replacing the epc fixed the hard shift problem and it did may put the shift kit in later. cost me 280.00 not bad since most shop i took it to said that it would cost around 600.00 plus price of the epc most trans shops said the trans needs rebuilt, so beware when you have this problem with the epc solinoid. know what your talking about and make sure you tell whoever will do the work the trans dont need to come out.
