I keep getting a P1404 on my '98 GTP (131k miles). I've done the procedure where I disconnect the EGR, clear the code, and turn off the engine etc.
That clears the code, but it comes back on a day or so.
So - I'm resigned to taking it off and cleaning it (it's never been off). Is dousing it with carb cleaner the right way?
