2002 grand prix 3.8 non supercharged,95,000 has a erratic shift after driving the car for a while, but no engine lights.
Decides to do a a trans pan drop, filter, and trans-go shift kit installed. To see if that would help anything. The fluid wasn't to bad, color wise, but it did have quite a bit of the black siid or whatever you call it in the fluid.
It ran fine for a week , then the car started to shift the same again, this time the engine light came on with code P0742.
I'm trying to figure out If I should, add sea-foam trans tune and drop the pan again..or just chalk it up as needing a rebuild.
