Im getting this code and a rotten egg smell... When i boight the car i replaced te downpipe with one off ebay.. Its prolly been 5 months and i just randomly got the code... I took it off and te flex pipe on the inside shrank to about the size of a half dollar.. I assumed that was te reason so i cut all the mesh wire out of the inside to see if it changed any thing... 2 days later it still smells like that if i get on it and the check emhine light still on... I also get a slight poof noise almost like backfire but it doesnt pop loud.... When i had my down pipe off it didnt look clogged.. I also sprayed some carb cleaner it it and some did cone out the other side... Is it clogged to much for the car but not for liquid idk what the deal is.. Any help would be appreciated...
 


Like stated it shrank .. Ive asked alot of muffler places and they said sometimes it happens so i removed it so it wasnt restricting
 
Blame the ebay product, they use worse quality cat converters.

It worked good for a little bit, but now it's not working as good anymore and the P0420 cat code comes up.
 
Ua figured it was junk from ebay... Wats weird is my light is now off.. So idk if the flex pipe cause the light or not
