P0420 No cat

Acquired a 03 GTP car has been modified and has no cat. I like how it sounds without, need cel off do I get a o2 emulator or program computer. New to this need help and advice
 


you can try the emulator trick, it may work. 01 up cars need the cat test turned off with a tuner program to fully delete it from working any more. as well as setting the codes to no reporting. aka deleted.
 
damn... i think i just turned off the 0420 thinking it was the evap code. but the 0420 code should have been deleted from my ..."overkill" pcm.
 


So emulator is not going to work since car is 03, so please give me info on programming the computer. Thanks for advice and info everyone
 
ive actually got a pcm that will work in your car and i have a tuner i can set it up so its right for ya. pm for info if interested.

The way the pcm runs the test says otherwise. The pcm dumps fuel and expects to see the change. If it doesn't see the change it's expecting, it continues dumping fuel every so often. Hence the issue.
