I just got a 2000 Grand Prix Gt and a day later I blew the fuse to the fuel pump. The guy I bought it from said he just put a new one in. He said it was a state vehicle and from the toggle switches I can tell. The fuse has blown several times but only in reverse. Now the car will just die while going forward but no blown fuse. Just looking for a place to start. If I let the car sit for a couple minutes it fires right up???
 


It was the crank shaft positioning sensor that was killing the motor and a short in the wiring from the fuel pump that was blowing the fuse
