Today, CEL came on. Pulled the code and I'm seeing P0102 (MAF issue). Checked the aeroforce gauge and sure enough, no frequencies showing up from the MAF. checked the MAF connections and everything looks fine.

what to check next?!

okay to drive it like this for a bit?? I'll stay out of boost in the meantime

Well.. Fuse blew again.. Anyone know what might be causing this?? Something is up as the fuse has blown twice within 24 hours.

thanks for any advice

your eyes work well to start with.

look at the plug ends for cracks or missing insulation, and down the wires too. if you can see bare wire, that pig tail is bad. or if you find the wires melted to the engine, theres a clue too.

check the maf and the o2 wires.

Think I may have found a potential root cause. Just ran out on while at lunch and check some wires. I recently removed my boost solenoid setup (and trimmed wires back in the process). Looked like there was some exposed wire there they could have touched each other. According to the handbook that came with the car, fuse 21 can be associated with the boost solenoid as well. So, going to switch out the fuse again and see if that fixes it.

Thanks again Scotty

agreed. I'll clean up those wires and swap fuses again and see if the issue stays away.

I owe you a beer. let me know if you are swingin through cincinnati anytime soon :th_thumb-up:
