Overkill Will Tuning God

If you think kr is an acceptable design criteria for a car gm released into the wild then you are just looking at this through jaded glasses. Gm spent millions tuning this car and they had millions at stake satisfying the customer as well as preventing warranty damage. Ive driven and scanned my gtp for over 100k miles with a stock tune and a stock exhaust with a ubend delete and never found any significant knocking. Same goes for a handful of other factory stock gtps ive scanned.

So remember when you are attacking my argument remember that you are really attacking a team of highly paid calibration engineers at gm that put this together.

And your dig at my empty posts is just because you want to take everything out of context. I recently posted another thread that ive refrenced as well as i imply the many projects i talk about on here in other threads ( stock tune 3.2pulley e85 gtp, 6+ 10 second turbo cars ive tuned/built, countless m90 stuff)

You've never seen significant knocking? Sounds like you don't understand what your looking at on your scanner or simply just don't know what you are doing...

It's fun to jot down every time someone said 'that'll never happen' or 'it won't work' or 'you won't make x power' or 'you can't sell that for x$'
And then later in the thread you see how each and every one of the naysayers comments was proven wrong.

Just one of the many successful endeavors I've spearheaded.

really why dont you attempt to explain how "cheap" that was again then?

or explain how it was cheaper than going turbo which now you've ditched the tvs and gone turbo.... hmm i wonder why?
hint because gains vs cost with a turbo is better..

SnowFlake, you have yet to learn that the majority is always right. That's why we have Obama to solve all of our problems. /sarcasm

Seriously though, you did something cool and unique, and some people will always piss on that kind of stuff. Especially little twerps with an armchair QB mentality that are so incapable of building a car, they simply purchase one built by someone else... and then tell everyone it's the best thing since sliced bread in every thread they possibly can.

LOL I concur... GF's bone stock low miles 04 GTP had a significant amount of knock on fresh 91 octane fuel. I was forced to tune her car because I didn't think it was good for the motor on the long run to have this much knock every time she went full throttle.

Her car went from running 15.2 @ 89 mph to 14.61 @ 94 mph ! with just a few simple changes within the same hour.
