I am from fenton, so I have a feeling I can do a tune for you if you feel you need it. I dont like tuning stock cars as I find they rarely need it.
with which tune??Yes because you're running an afr in the tens and no timing.
with which tune??
either way, you know who to talk to about that.
i have an overkill tune, considered it good until i blew my engine up, then after replacing it got the tune looked at and he said it was running super lean due to the tune something about it being in the 14s when it should be around 10... idk i dont know tuning language, i more or less blame the overkill tune on the destruction of my motor figured the tune would at least make it safe to drive but i still should have had it fine tuned to my car... if i did the issue would have been caught in time
well don't blame me... jus sayinWho's do you think?

if you could find out what specifically is to believed to be incorrect that might mean something.
How did your engine fail?
And Matt, "Yes because you're running an afr in the tens and no timing", come on man :headshake:

NR92, I'm sorry to hear about your motor, but I wouldn't publically blame my PCM if you don't know specifics on why you think it was my PCM. A PCM tune is not a failsafe to do anything you want modding wise, I say so whenever asked and I say so right in the booklet I send with my PCMs. You've got a very aggressive pulley size for a GenV with headers, did you do any scanning to know what your KR is? Boost?
I know the settings that I aim for are safe and not aggressive enough that they'd have caused that type of engine damage on their own; your vehicle didn't conform to the norm or it had excessive boost/KR that went undiagnosed for too long.
I am very sympathetic to the rebuilding you've had to do because I've owned 4 GTPs myself, built motors, been there before. Just do indeed be careful about what your new tuner is doing, ensure you understand entirely what he's doing and why, and if this was an issue with a fuel supply issue or an overboost issue ensure that it's diagnosed and corrected before anything bad happens again
