• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Overkill Motorsports

Hello all. I hope I'm not a total stranger to most, I've been on OQCGP and "that other GP club" forum for more than 6 years and I've been doing 3800 performance builds for most of that timeframe.

I started Overkill Motorsports to cater WBody parts to my fellow Canadians and my website is now officially up and running at :: Overkill Motorsports ::

My goal is to offer good parts at good prices with greater ease of ordering within Canada. I'm affiliated with ZZP, I've been a distributor of theirs for several years. I also have good relations with Trannyman and his excellent 3800 expertise, as well as Redline Transmissions and Crosstown Engines who can provide transmission and engine work for those local to the Greater Toronto Area.

For any Canadian WBody enthusiasts, we appreciate your consideration in doing business with us, please check out what we have to offer and send us an email at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Moderators of the forum, please feel free to contact me to discuss how we may help sponsor this forum and community in order to provide our services.

The illusive Will.:) I'm still running those Lightning injectors I bought from you. I still haven't figured out where that 7th injector goes.LOL

i like the PCM man i wish it wasnt so expensive(in comparison) but im debating on would it be worth the lil extra.

Good to see Overkill here, and the new website looks great. I am an outspoken happy customer. His PCM has been my favorite mod to date. It really gives the car a new personality. Will is an awesome guy too. He gave me some great advice, like advising me to get the stainless version of the plog over the mild steel ones that are prone to cracking. I highly recommend him to anyone. Best PCMs you can get. :D I need to see about a retune soon due to new mods...

Will is the man! He's been nothing but a huge help to me. I recommend him and his products to anyone, especailly his PCMs.

Nice to see you over here Will!

Oh, okay, understandable. I wasnt sure and thought I would ask. I have a spare, I guess I could plug that in if I needed to send it in for recalibration/retuning.

The PCMs are indeed locked but at the cost of $50 per retune including shipping, you can have nearly 7 retunes along with the cost of the initial PCM purchase before equalling the cost of an HP Tuners suite and doing all the figuring out yourself. The average highly modified vehicle requires 1-2 retunes at most to dial in. It's cost effective for us to do the work for you :)

just wondering shouldn't tuning be done in car due to the fact that every car runs different?

Idealy yes and for those local I do incar tuning for $250 including wideband, but those that recieve their PCMs in the mail can get a scan of their vehicle, send it in for analysis and their PCM can be tweaked based on what the scan reveals. Either the PCM can be sent back in for reprogramming, or pay for another one that gets sent out first and after returning your original and refunding, the cost of the retune is only $50 including shipping.

Those with vehicles that are modified enough to require tweaking the PCM beyond normal settings should invest in a scantool, particularly with camshaft, MAF or injector changes. At the very least, know someone local that does have a scanner that is willing to offer their services.

Will, if I may, can you list what we should ideally scan for to give you a good idea of how everything is working. Also, do you do any consulting? Such as I send you scans of my car and then you make suggestions as to what needs to be tweaked?

I can't really charge for consulting per say, but I always try and help those that send me scans if they don't have my PCM to the best of my abilities as time permits. Best thing to do in that instance is post on a public forum like this one and send me the link.

Items best to scan are MPH, RPM, TPS %, MAP in KPA, MAF in Htz, Commanded AFR, B1S1 O2, Spark Advance, Knock Retard, Long Term and Short Term Fuel Trims.

Guys, Will is the man. He's done tuning on my car and with his work it had a spot on tune last summer. He knows what to do. I recommend him to everyone, I'm glad to know someone like Will who can help me out. Its worth the money!

I'll admit, I wish I knew how to do my own tuning. I've tried to learn but its greek to me, and I know I ain't the only one lost either. The PT board was worthless IMO, no one wanted to help one on one and really explain it. I asked for help several times and got nothing. Instead of doing a halfassed tune myself, I opted to get it done right. With high praise on ClubGP for Overkill, thats who I went with.

He's done my car a few times and he's done my GFs car. And in a week, I'll be doing more business with him again on both cars.
