Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Overheating

Its no wonder the tstats are replaced with lower temp tstats which im highly considering as it cant possibly be comfortable for the aluminum block to even idle that high lol.

My next question is replacing those dang bose speakers. My passenger rear and front drive have no sound at all and it seems i can just buy speakers and put them in without the bose amp to flip out which means an amp replacement. Problem is i dnt want to get a HU (probably will in the future) but would still like to have all my speakers working.

Ive been doing research on it and it seems it wpuld be a huge headache to get rid of that bose amp and system while maintaining the stock HU

what al black and heads are you speaking of? you got a cast iron everything under the hood lol

all of GM's cars and trucks are made to run at 210 or so, where the engine runs its most efficient.

if you were to drop a 180 in, it would run as hot as it does now being your fans are not tuned to a lower turn on temp.

i got my fans set to come on at 185, run a 195 t stat, car runs 175-180 moving, if it sits and idles a long time it will still get to 200 or more.

I could have swore the 3800 block was aluminum.... All the better of it is an iron then that makes it alot more comfortable i suppose then lol
