OverHead Display Dimming Prob.

I have a 01 GTP Coupe. I bought this Wonderful Car a week ago. And I have yet to enjoy my digital overhead display. It, at random displays its digital dsplay at different resolutions. making it basically impossible to see most of the time. if soomeone can help please do. i need happines fast!
 


I think you are referring to your HUD, Heads Up Display, that sits just above your driver side dashboard and reflects onto your windshield correct? If your HUD is extremely during the day, that means the photocoell that controls the intesity of the display is slowly coming undone. The soder that holds the photocell in place over time will losen from its soder point and the cell will react in adverse ways, dimmer during the day and will appear brighter at night.
