I think my overdrive is slipping. once it shifts into overdrive my engine rpm goes down and my speed goes up. Is this my overdrive or do i have bigger problems?
Thats your torque converter locking.Its normal.
Also as a side note,if u wanna check 2 c if it is locking at highway speeds just lightly tap your brake while still on the gas.Your rpms should go up then back down when the converter locks back.
