I have a 07 base model with the special edition package..I need more take off power! I am willing to spend a bit to get that power, my problem is I know nothing about engines :( What should I get to give me more take off power??

zz performance has a few options but not sure what i can even get for my car?

Intake down pipe stay away from zzp pcms ive herd nuthin but bad about them (not that you'll need one for an SE anyway) exhaust
 
for a good kick in the pants go for a 3" downpipe, a home built or TDCRacing FWI, slightly colder plugs (autolite 104s), and a 3.6 or 3.5 pulley.

youll need a tune to go with it.

Ok so for a base model i am seeing the best thing to do is intake down pipe, hv3, cai..Now what is hvc, and cai??lol

Can I get all this stuff in 1 place?
 


lol, i figured out CAI yesterday - been seeing it all over didnt know didnt wanna ask so i thought about it. - Cold Air Intake
 
Buy the TDC Racing Fenderwell intake from here
Get a 180* T-Stat and Autolite 605's from a loacl auto parts store (might as well get TDC's plug wires while your at it changing plugs and stuff)
Buy a 2.5" Catted Downpipe and Front Powerlog Manifold from ZZPerformance
Get a Tuned PCM from either Intense Racing, Overkill, or 3800 Performance
Then, buy a HV3 Upper Insert from ZZPerformance
Lastly...get a Shift Kit...and poly mounts...shift kit from Triple Edge Performance and the mounts from Intense Racing...oh and read the thread called Safely Modding Your 3800 Powered Car in the General Tech Section.
 
ok, lots of options been going thru all this in my head..I think I am gonna say screw the horsepower and just get something to give it a deeper sound..

any easy ideas on this guys...btw thank you for helping me..
 


So just get the magnaflow muffler from zz performance? Any other ideas for a deeper sound? I have duel exaust comming out the back do these mufflers accomadate that?
 
I didn't think i could do that? **** ya I would spend the money for that, it's nice and easy too isn't it..Spebdy but easy..where do I get that!!
