opinions on gauges, aeroforce

SilvaMan61

GPFs Sexy Ginger.
so ive had my mind set on the aeroforce inceptor gauges for a while, but now i'm giving it more thought. ive done some reading and im still unsure, so im hoping you guys could help.

i like the tri power performance hud pod that 3800performance offers ( 2 gauge pod)

with that said my main concern lies in the gauges. I was thinking of getting the dual aeroforce interceptors, but dont know if it is completely necessary seeing as how one will read all the info i need (I think). Should i get one aeroforce and just another cheaper gauge as a filler? or is there an important parameter that i should have a gauge souley devoted to?

i want to have kr displayed
would also like to be able to read..
oil pressure
fuel pressure
boost
ect.

still a noob,:th_jester:, shed some light on me

gauges that everyone should have: oil pressure, boost/vac, something to read KR/timing

gauges that help a lot, but you dont need to have: fuel pressure, wideband AFR, volts, etc.

here is what i had on my car: volt, oil pressure, boost/vac, fuel pressure, wideband AFR

it looked like an airplane, but i knew everything that was happening with my car. oil pressure is for sure a must have, because when oil pressure drops off then youre going to need a new motor. boost/vac helps a ton for diagnosing vacuum leaks as well as letting you know when and where you are experiencing boost spikes as well as peak boost. fuel pressure is only relevant when you have a bunch of mods done and want to watch if your fuel pressure drops off on the top end of your gears when WOT. a wideband is probably the second most useful gauge out there since without a properly dialed in car (as far as fueling goes) then your car doesn't run correct and narowband readings are only helpful as a comparison, not an actual reading.

having a good day bio? haha thanks for your input man

considering that maybe ill get a boost gauge and an aeroforce to read kr and oil pressure

does an aeroforce read oil pressure? i thought it only read engine parameters, which oil pressure is not.

and what do you mean having a good day? everyday is a good day when youre me.

haha well thats good...as far as the oil pressure ill check i thought it did but im usually wrong..............

soo oil pressure gauge and aeroforce for boost/kr

i thought viewing kr and boost simotaneously would have been valuable though..maybe im wrong?

and i want mechanical oil pressure right?

sorry guys im extemley indecisive..and a horrible speller lol

you can view them simultaneously, get three gauges.

i had an electrical oil pressure gauge because there was no way in hell i was going to run an oil line into the interior of my car. the electricals work fine so long as you keep the connections tight.
