Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Opinions on exhaust

I think I am going to build an aluminum exhaust for the 3800 Monte and use the aluminum Vibrant mufflers. Aluminum has different acoustic properties than stainless and I am interested to see if there is any noticeable improvement on these applications.

ZZP makes or used to make an aluminium catback. I had it on my last grand prix with magnaflow mufflers and a magnaflow resonator. it was too loud for me. I switched the resonator to the quieter zzp resonator and it helped, but was still to loud. I don't think there was any drone. at full throttle you couldn't hear yourself talk.

OP, ill be selling magnaflow series 11225 mufflers if you want to buy them. I'm throwing borlas on tomorrow. I do feel like they'll sound very similar, but I'm experiment since i've herad borla sounds the best. But if you want that deep sound, with no rasp as long as you have a resonator, these would work. Would sell cheap too.

if building from scratch, go full 3 inch cat back its the only cat back i like the sound of. ive not heard one 3 inch set up pop, backfire, or sound like a wet fart yet.

^^^this^^^

Is what I did... 3" to the split, then 2.5" at mufflers... : )

So, you lose a little velocity on your exhaust, but "I read" back pressure is a myth!
:D

go stainless, thank me later.

hehe, at least @3" you're set for how ever high you wanna take it (engine), lol.

and yes, there is no wet farting, no pops. If you get a little drone, you can take care of that - just set up a Helmholtz resonator.
