So here's the deal, I have a 98 GTP that is bone stock.

In the next month or 2, I would like to do exhaust, intake, pcm, and 3.4 pulley.

-I have some questions....

1. What mods do i have to do before i can safely do the 3.4 pulley without breaking anything?

2. Is it worth it to get a downpipe along with my exhaust?

3. In lamens terms, what will a PCM do for me?

4. Are all these mods "tranny safe?"

5. Also, I need tires next month...Is it possible to go wider? maybe to a 235?

Any suggestions or info/opinions would be great, on the tires as well

1) headers, catted or non-catted dp, air intake, 180 t-stat, autolight 104 plugs, scan for kr, pcm or pcm tune. scan for kr.
2) You don't need a cat back. The factory exhaust from there back is more than adequate. Get you a good set of headers which will come with a dp. Your choice of catted or non. Mufflers wont do anything for performance, but will give you a deeper tone.
3) Will open up different ranges. Firmer shifts, higher redline, speed limiter removed, adjusted for the mods you have to try and help eleminate kr.
4)I don't see you having any problems. But like anything else modded to a degree, enough dogging and things can tend to let go. If your a occasional racer or what not, you'll be good for now.
5)Yes you can go to a 235. It's only going to be about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider at the most.
I hope this helps and I am sure if I left anything out Others will chime in.
