opinion on the chevy cruze

SS version will be released next year according to car and driver, i took one for a test drive at work. its not all that bad, ill say its a sportier commuter and thats about it

I was also impressed, GM did the correct thing axing the Cobalt for the Cruze in the USA, Europe has had then for a while

They look pretty nice, I'm not of huge fan of having my steering fall off into my lap going down the freeway though. That's just me though...

Test drove one today. A 1.4L Turbo....and it was DOGGGG SLOOOOWWWW!!! Buy the telescoping steering wheel was cool, almost 3D! It was a comfitable, very smooth ride. I loved it. Features was awesome too but once again, Wayyy toooo slow of a car. A 1988 Ford Escort has more pick-up....Seriously....

Good looking interior though, good job GM...Should have Tripple Turbo'd that sucker, It needs it!

Be a man.

bolt on a larger turbo, get ZZP's charge tubes and I/C, injectors and a tune and call it a day.

make sure you get the 6 speed manual..... for more win

I told you it was slow, LOL. First gear pulls strong, but after that, yeah, you've seen.

Lmao, yeh it was a really slow car. I still had fun test driving something with 44 miles on it =P

Yeah awesome interior but the car just doesn't have enough kick :( Now I'm considering going with a Civic SI or something

(I'm going for gas mileage people! lol...Not a Honda fan but I want something with alil' fight in it and some power when I need it)

I don't know about the Civic, but my girl's 95 Accord was nothing but work. I replaced literally every wearable part on that car including the Engine and Transmission by 130,000 miles. I replaced the high pressure powersteering hose 3 times itself within 2 years. Now I think they came out with a recall for it of course. Once done with all that though, I ported the intake and head, and put a switch in to enable the VTEC when I wanted. That gave it some zoom and got 29 MPG on the highway even while doing 90 and lots of acceleration runs, lol. I never had the time to work on my Regal and GTP cause it took so much of my time. Now a tractor trailer totaled it so I'll finally have time and money to get to my cars. Stinks that it happened cause I put so much work in, but now I have more time.
