open cone winter time ? okay or no?

hey guys i got a 3.4 setup on my gtp. but now winters comming with that good ol' cold weather say around below -35's and wanted to know what do i do with my open cone system.? put factory back on with 3.4 setup? make a difference? or open cone for winter is okay ?..... let me know what yall have in mind. thanks

Open cone shouldn't be a problem. I am still up in the air about those fender wall intakes though. However slight the chance might be I would still be worried about hydro lock.

The only difference is you may get some of the timing back that your computer is robbing from you because of the IAT's coming in through that open cone.
