one hid doesnt work all the time?

ive got a relay for them too but the driver side hid seems to be not as bright as the passenger side one, sometimes its just not on, any ideas?

I was having the same problem. Turns out the ground wire was loose and there was a gap between it and the frame of the car. tightened up and they work perfect now.
