I have two 12's in a decent size box in my trunk. My Rear STB stops it from completely being pushed back.( I loose almost a foot of trunk space. I wanted to know if it is ok to take the onstar cpu out with no trouble? I know its not alot of space but have more space away from my speakers would be nice. So is it okay to take the onstar stuff in the trunk out?
 


Should beable to take it out with no problems at all, Technically it's not even useful because of the fcc ruling on analog equipment.

One the newer models you can take it out and have nothing wrong, also on impalas those years you can too so it wont bother you.
