Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

just bought my wife a 2000gtp today she liked my 1999 so much she wanted one of her own. well we went and picked it up 121k on the motor and trans. no issues other than a few blemishes visually.... well drove it about 120 miles home and to and from the car wash and everything was great. about an hour later we go to take it to dinner and its sputtering and sounds like its tapping. im wondering if it probably a bad coil or somehow something happend to the motor in 130 miles. no check engine lights but i havent had a chance to scan for codes :/......... any help would be greatly appriciated thanks in advance

I'd look into the ignition. When I got my car I'm not even sure if the plugs had ever been changed. Ran smooth till one day when it was misfiring bad one day.

Otherwise has it had a tune up.

FYI- Don't install Platinum plugs. Stock Irridiums or Copper plugs only on these cars. The ignition system will eat the platinums rather quickly and you will have misfire issues sooner rather than later. And I know this sounds dumb seeing as how you own a GTP, but be sure she only runs at least 91 octane fuel in it, 93 being better if you can find it.

always with 93. just put in ngk iridium plugs and wires and didnt do a thing, bought a scanner and it pulled code P0304 misfire in cylinder 4. went back to autozone and bought a new coil. installed it and still having a misfire in cylinder 4 :/. all plugs were gapped to spec 0.060 before they were installed

the last thing i can think of is the ICM and my wifes gonna grab it on her way home.... if that doesnt work what else could it be?

yea wifey just got home ima add it to the fuel and in the vacuum lines and a little in the motor that way its everywhere haha

rynoman you sir are a god. i decided to run the seafoam through it first before i startred digging into the icm and sure enough the tap stopped and the motor started running smooth as hell half way through the bottle i cought it on video with my gopro aswell and it was cool as **** being able to hear the tap pretty much suddenly fade away lol. thank you again i would have never thought of using the stuff this was my first experiance with it and im deff sold on the product

Did you do it through the Vac line first or fuel tank? The stuff does work well. I'm no God, just trying to help a fellow do it yourselfer out. You swapped out all of the easy stuff. Only fuel related things to try. Hope it solved your problem.

i put half the bottle in the tank (3/4 full) and the other half i used in the vacuum line. im posting the video of my success on youtube as we speak. ill post the link in here when its done incase ya wanna check it out
