98 Intrigue, 3800 motor, 210k miles on the body, ~140 on the motor and trans. Air needed recharged and rear 02 sensor was bad.

And that's it, folks. Good tires, good brakes, drove straight, ran great. Leather interior, Bose speakers, sunroof, all windows worked.

$400 on Craigslist

I can't post based on deals I wouldn't normally get, because I always get great deals at say Advance

Re: Post Your RockAuto/Amazon/eBay/ETC Deals And Steals

Ask anyone that's been there with me. I like to name my own prices

Re: Post Your RockAuto/Amazon/eBay/ETC Deals And Steals

i got a 05 comp g, 115k miles, needed hood, bumper, and headlight was 3000$. Not really a STEAL.

i ended up selling it as is, 5K miles later, for 5000$.

It actually happened to be a dealership that bought it too, which surpised me, later found out that the rear main seal broke 2K miles later, and he lost money on it.

Why i sold it AS IS to him, he didnt even start the car when he bought it, looked at the engine, and gave me cash. I laughed a little inside. this was in 2013

Edit, after looking at my picture, i could post about my 01 GT.

Bought my 01 gt with 49500 on the odometer for 4300$.
Still have it with 57K miles now on it and driving great. Prob not the best price for the car, but can you really find one for less with miles like that. You can guess where the money came from for my 01 gt, from the comp g.

Re: Post Your RockAuto/Amazon/eBay/ETC Deals And Steals

I snagged 4 wheels and tires that only had a few thousand miles on them for 370.

I buy at my store cost. Aka half off everyone elses price. Rockauto buys from my company. My royal purple oil changes with a knn filter are like 30 bucks.

Re: Post Your RockAuto/Amazon/eBay/ETC Deals And Steals

I picked up my SD hood with 2 Borla Mufflers with tips and a spare climate control head unit for $250. Bought my JL W3 for $75, $200 for GXP seats, $17 Dorman front sway, $26 06+ Impala fronts brakes, Free wheel bearings (buddy at Oreilly's warranted out my stockers), $67 130k transmission, I'm sure there is more. I've actually always been able to swing a good deal. for my truck I bought the full retro-fit kit to go roller for $100, included Mustang HO cam, distributor gear, lifters, spider, dog bones, and push rods. Literally everything to go roller. Complete MAF setup with ECM was $150, all kinds of stuff like that.

Re: Post Your RockAuto/Amazon/eBay/ETC Deals And Steals

I paid $63.62 for this Timken bearing. I thought it was a great deal, until it showed up and realized that it was made in Korea.

Not so good deal, but might be worth reading, just so someone doesn't get suckered into the same mistake I made.

Ive got the same ones on my car. Thought they were american beforehand but I think all timkims are made in Korea now. I use them all the time at work, every one has been made there that I've seen. Really haven't had any come back yet, except maybe one.

I bought one for our '94 K1500 Suburban on the same order - it was a USA Timken bearing.
