your main problem is you live one of the 5 boroughs, where no hand guns are permitted at all. only hunting guns. and no guns are allowed to be owned or kept in Manhattan unless its a antique.
my brother lives just over the NJ boarder in NY, orange county, hes got 5 hand guns and a 22 rifle. took a year to get his lic cleared with all the BS hoops they make you jump through tho. but hes got it.
why the government try's to make legal gun owners out to be the bad guys ill never know. if you took every gun from every legal owner the only guns left would be owned by criminals. just like today, and that would leave us all unprotected.
its the illegal guns doing all the crime. 99% of legal gun owners respect guns and dont go out killing or robbing, or shooting up schools.

Same goes here. You can get a gun without even blinking. The last time I heard about a shooting was over a year ago from some guy out of state. But most people know here if you try robbing or killing someone in their house... plan on having probably 2-3 loaded guns pointed at you. I'm sure the average household has 3 or more guns. I know several people with 30+ guns that are always loaded in their house.

I did a little shooting this afternoon and i made the decision to be a criminal and load ten rounds in the magazines! I totally understand if you`re all scared of me now and decide to delete me from your friends list.

Though on my XD40 case it said high capacity magazine not permittable sale in California. No other states.
