Oklahoma Meet?

usually show off each others cars, talk, solve problems, and work on someones car if they need help with something.

If your thinking of going to the Branson meet, its a little more involved than what TurboKent was talking about.

Oklahoma meets are usually working on cars, showing cars, troubleshooting, talking about parts, and then we all go out to eat usually.

The Branson meet is a event for the entire community and is in Branson MO.

All money goes to a charity and not in anyones pocket.
We will Drag Race on Friday
Car Show on Saturday (as well as a raffle for some BIG prizes)
There are also 3 group meals and the event goes from Thursday to Saturday.

Could chat with Bobby (TubbedGTP) about setting up a BBQ get together/Mod day thing, or something along those lines on a day when the track will be open so that we can hang out there and whoever wants to run can do so, before heading out back into town to laugh at rice. :th_king-evil:
 


So, where does everyone live at in Oklahoma and what would be a central location for everyone to meet? Just curious.
 
We are kinda spread out all over. Me in Bartlesville, a few in Tulsa, some in Oklahoma City and a few even further west I believe. So we generally rotated the meet location so that it would be fair to everyone.
 


As i've said before, if we wanna do it in OKC, i've offered up my place.. My place is easy to get to, especially for any Wichita Falls guys, I'm 3 miles off the turnpike by Newcastle. You remember how fast I got to Wichita Falls Steet Wolf :-) Then again I was rolling 90 mph most of the way.

I'd be up for Wichita Falls too though, it would be some place different...
 
as the rookie (I think) here I have to say I'll be watching here. when you guys hash it out to where it is gonna be I'll know.

on a different note. do any of you guys know sleepy-gtp out of OKC?
he got a s/c for sale and if all is good I need one.
 
Is there anyway that we can turn this thread, or make another thread, into a poll and decide where we would be able to meet at.

Then its a case of finding a date. Mabe an October/November track day. Id love to hit the track on a nice cool day.
