Oklahoma Before and After

Gonna be in for it again today. This is suppose to be 3pm-2am so were gonna buckle down for another rollercoaster. Said it has the potential for multiple tornados later this evening.

That said... see the bottom orange on in the middle... Durant.... that's me. That is why I live here, I think I will let the showers wash the car today. No purple hell fire tornadic weather for this guy.

That whole spot that was purple, apparently couldn't handle the awesome wrath of Mother nature and is now just a giant crater in the world, devoid of all intelligent life.... o wait, there wasn't much to begin with! BAHAHAA J/K I'm an ass lol. ROFLMAO

Most made it out pretty good, several tornados fell Friday night, 1 cluster dropped about 5 in a few minutes but they were mostly away from the suburbs. A couple fatalities, about 50 injuries, I know of a woman and her baby that were trapped in the car, and heard of a news crew that was killed but not 100% on that.

1 Chaser crew got too close, did this before/after

Video of crew that got caught in a bad situation, front passenger would have been told to STFU or GTFO as I can't handle this when trying to drive in a bad situation, so excuse his pansy screaming.
Its a bad situation, but screaming like a little girl isn't helping the driver get through the debris, the guy in the back seat wasn't freaking out, no need for that crap. But regardless I believe all 3 vehicles in the video made it out ok, damaged and shaken, but ok. Barn was a loss tho, and the tornado was behind them, barn was destroyed via the high winds around the central part of the storm creating the tornado, that is just craziness!!!

I love how the guy in sheff's video was screaming bloody murder but didn't put his seat belt on until 3:45 in.... lol

Thanks Joe, I hadn't seen that interview with them and couldn't find the video from the truck. I knew they made it out, but heard that another crew wasn't so lucky.

When this was all happening I was at a game night LAN party with the guys and one got a call from his commanding officer who told him to get up there to help out, being a active military medic he jumped up and packed up and took off. Crazy stuff, but we had been watching the live feeds between games and the number of chasers in the area was crazy. Funny part was there was 1 crew with a Dominator truck that was over by the Ardmore area just sitting watching the skies, made us all worried about what they knew that nobody else did lol. I don't think anything happened, but just crazy weather weekend.

I got home and turned on the Weather Channel to see what was going on and that is when the Hunt Truck was hit. Crazy stuff indeed. Kinda glad I live is boring Ohio.

I believe the other crew you are referring to is Tim Samaras and his son, and another chaser. All 3 were found dead. Tim was on the discovery channel show Storm Chasers. What I read was Tim was found dead in the truck still in his seat belt, and his son and the other chaser were both ejected from the vehicle. It's very sad, Tim was one of the forefront scientists in tornado research. The community has lost a great asset as well as a great man.

Damn Chris, I didn't hear your brothers house was hit. You know if you need anything just let me know, I got my truck and some hands and we will be free a few hours every morning before I go to work. You see that Shawn's wife's daycare got wiped out with her and several kids inside?
Thanks Kevin, my brother is actually doing good considering what happened. He's actually been turning the extra donations and help to his other neighbors and friends who need it. Yea I didn't know that about Sean's family. That damn tornado went where everyone in Moore was at.do you know if they are all ok?

im at a lost of words

Lady i work with was telling me the recent tornado in El Reno was 2.5miles wide. She said they moved it to an F5 and is the biggest Tornado yet, bigger than the Moore one. The only positive thing about the El Reno one, was that it hit a more rural area but still people were affected by it. Im just ready for these tornados to move on. Seems like we are getting hit with more frequent F5's than anything :th_shakinghead2: and not to mention the heavy rains and flooding that have claimed lives as well. I work in downtown, OKC and the underground tunnels were flooded and are still closed till further notice. It damaged some overflow files we had down in storage in the tunnels.. ready for a break from this stuff
