Ok to go from a Synthetic oil, to a synthetic blend??

You are correct about ac delco. I didn't realize they were so bad.

Here is a decent description as to why mobil 1 isn't fully synthetic.http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2548209

So basically all full synthetic motor oils aren't "that great" then? Like pennzoil, castrol, mobil 1, valvoline.

Just a random thought... Do you guys think my overkill PCM might be causing issues with the cold weather with the fuel changes he makes in his PCM? Bad o2 sensor , ??

I just find it weird that it almost fires. It will crank , fire, crank, fire, but just not start. So close most of the time.. Then it floods from not starting... Maybe just swap back the original PCM, to see if it helps?

Any other suggestions?

It's definitely possible. If you still have the old one swap them and see.

Give some gas when it wants to fire and it should keep going.

I hate that "auto start" feature on tons of cars where you just flip the key and starter goes by itself untill the engine runs.

And it shouldn't flood after only a few trys, it would take alot to flood of no starts to even get alot of fuel in te cylinders. It's FI car, no a carb, they don't spray that must fuel per start up attempt.

Also remember they flow much better than conventional oil in cold weather. That's my main reason for using it since my engine runs cool, never saw anything above 205. Stick two quarts in the freezer, full syn and conventional. The conventional may look like honey while the synthetic would be much better, like gear oil.

Also you may argue full syn isnt really full syn and stuff, but does it really need to be? If the little or whatever that's in it now if plenty, amsoil may be completely overkill for drivers like me. Plus it's really not that much more expensive for regular full synthetic oil, that's probably why amsoil is so expensive since it's overkill.
