• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

oil pressure gauge

BoostJunki3

Needs A Turbo
will i need any adapter if i remove the stock one? i dont need a sensor that alerts me below 5psi as i will see that on the gauge anyway......will i need an adapter for the new sender? im using a aem digital oil pressure gauge.....

My sending unit needed a 1/8" to 1/4" thread adapter. I found mine at O'reillys. Autozone told me I would have a really hard time finding one. So I walked next door to O'reillys and they said, "Yeah, we have one"

I went to home depot and got a 1/4 brass T, and the adapter like above. Used Teflon tape on all the connectors and put the T in the block with both sending units on it, so that the little oil light would not stay on in the gauge cluster.

I put the side of the T in the engine, with the new sending unit straight out and the OEM unit on the top.
