Oil pan gasket

so this weekend I going to start the oil pan removal again. new aluminum pan, mounting bracket, bolts, oil sump pickup all on order. also going to drop the transmission pan and install a filter and new gasket. I have a lot to do. wish me luck

How bad is it leaking? If its just seeping I'd drain the oil, clean the pan up and rtv it so you can save yourself a headache

Part 1 tran mouth, tran pan.
Jack up car and put on jack stand.
I remove my front bumper cover. To make more room. To work.
Take off front tires.

Disconnect battery

Remove coolant reservoir

Remove Top motor mounts

Connect support chain from alternator bracket to top motor mount bracket. I added a piece of heater hose to protect my new alternator

Loop 2 support over motor mount bolt.

Hook chain to fender engine support bar.

Crank up support bar over side wing nuts.
Pick up motor up by 4 to 6 inch. Pull out tran mount.
Old on top new below.

Next I remove all 20 tran bolts

Watch after taking out the back10 bolt fluid will start to come out.

My tran pan. Just black particles.

Clean everything with brake clean, remove tran filter.

Also the remove black gasket on old filter. (Big pain in the ass)

Install new gasket.

Install new tran gasket, and pan.

I start by putting every other both in. Then the other one.

Set to 80 in-pound,
Then 120 in-pound.
