Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

oil pan drip

I can tell you exactly what size it is if need be as I have my stock one sitting on my bench at home since I installed a true oil pressure gauge.

is it just one bolt, and the whole thing comes out? or is there more to it. Also i was looking online fore replacements and there are many different kinds. If someone can send me a link of the right one to get for my 2000 gtp s/c that would be awesome. thanks guys

the 3 new ones i bought all had thread sealer on them already, its going to leak some when you take it off, so have something to catch some oil, i used a pair of channel lock pliers to get the old one out and the new one in. i had a wrench that fit but its was to much work turning the wench over every turn its a odd fit. channel locks get done fast and easy.

and get some gunk engine de greaser and clean your engine up, thats a real mess.

and these little jems seem to blow all the time, after my 3 rd one let lose i just put a brass plug in the hole and called it a day. till i get a oil pressure gauge.

I just stuck a wrench on my old sending unit from my 00 GT. It's 1 1/16".

And plugging it woudn't hurt either. This sensor operates with the contacts open when normal, so having the sensor disconnected will not cause an oil light or CEL. And anyways, by the time the oil pressure light does pop up on the dash it's too late. It's just more of a confirmation that "yep, you're motor is f**ked, time for a new one", lol... Love my sport comps. Nothing beats a true gauge. They've saved my butt several times w/ my cars over the years.

A word of advice would be do not overtighten the new one when installing the new one. It does not need to go super tight. It is a tapered pipe thread and you can split the piece the sensor goes into if you go too tight. Just go nice and snug.
