• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

oil light flickering at idle

Sean did I not tell you 2 days ago to pull the filter neck off and check the pressure spring to make sure it wasn't sticking?

Yes, gauge and then remove front cover. Check gerotor/front cover condition. If front cover is in good condition you have no choice but somehow get to the main bearings. This is would most likely be where the low pressure condition is spawned.

The bypass plug sticking won't cause low oil pressure. It scoring the bore in which it resides will let oil past the plug and into the bypass circuit...less oil going out to the engine.

not even the pos factory jack?

put a cinder block and some wood under it, then let the air out of the tire lol like a thief in the night lol

Hitman answered that when you originally asked.
As the oil heats up it gets thinner thereby causing lower oil pressure.

Since you'll be pulling the motor again, you could pull the alternator and tensioner brackst/alt mount out. You'd probably be able to get at it from above. Or if you take the axle out like Rico suggests..then you'd have it easy.
