oil life?

sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

Do any of you trust your oil life indicator on the DIC? I'm at almost 3k and the DIC says I'm at 73%! WTF?

Back in the day of carb.s and conventional oil, we did 3 to 4k changes. No questions asked.

I know everything has gotten better: oil, filters, and of course FI helps a lot too, but I'm confused. Anybody got any input? When do you change your oil?

Don't go by the DIC. Just change your oil...it is just there for lazy people that ever forget

I would still change it every 3k unless you are using synthetics or are doing almost all highway driving........if normal use every 3k minimum
