oil leaking, and other issues

Looking for a bit of insight for my 01 gt, 3.8.
Leaking oil, fairly aggressively. I have changed oil pan and valve cover gaskets rescently.
Getting 'low coolant' light, although coolant level seems OK, although it does appear to have oily substance in it.
and the coolant has be changed within the last year.
Belt is flinging something upward to the underside of the hood, and I don't seem to be having any major fluid issues(a bit of power steering and brake fluids from time to time, and oil is disappearing at a quart per every two weeks, give or take. I have heard about LIM gasket failures, could this be a culprit? Would oil in the antifreeze give the sensor a false reading calling out 'low coolant'?, because the level doesn't seem to change. Oil level sure does though. Thanks in advance for any and all input.

The low coolant light sensors fail often when they get dirty. You can unplug the sensor which is located on the pass. side radiator tank, this will keep the light from coming on, it is easy to get too if you remove the pass. headlight assembly. Failing LIM gasket can cause oil to be sucked into the intake ports causing higher then normal oil consumption.

On my 98 gtp i had the inner cv shaft boot break which while driving threw cv joint grease onto belt in which ended up all over the sc and the hood liner.

check your oil pressure sensor, its on the oil filter housing, they like to leak a lot of oil when they go bad. they tend to leak on the axle so it may be slinging the oil up to the belt.

or the water pump is leaking and the belt is slinging coolant. engine off, leave the belt on too, grab the w/p pulley with both hand, then do a push pull with each hand, back and fourth, if the pulley moves, the pump is bad.

clean the low coolant sensor, its on the rad tank pass side.

go glean the engine well, and the undercarriage. Take her for a boot and park it. If there are oil stains where you park it , throw some cardboard under the engine area so you have a clear canvas to inspect after. Is there any condensation on the oil cap or neck when the engine is at normal op temp? if there is , LIM leak definately, it gums up the sensor in the rad side and it is designed to throw the warning for that. Do the LIM and all other top end gaskets, clean your intake up, and dont forget that that pcv valve is gonna be gummed up too.

I used Fel Pro for all my gaskets, which are phenominal. Took me , a carpenter, 9 hours to change all necessary gaskets and do the oil change and the rad flush etc. in the freezing winter. Its not a hard job just keep organized and clean the surfaces properly!!! good luck with her!

ps i think the felpro kit came with o rings for injectors as well, while youre removing her.
