Oil leak

I have on 07 na Grand Prix with 190k miles on it. It has a small oil leak that's dropping on the frame under the serpentine belt. It's not leaking like crazy but if the car gets driven a good distance it will leak out all of the oil it has. If I just drive it around town it will take a week or two at a time for it to say low oil again. But my point being, I need to fix it but have no idea where the leak is coming from? I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them? I was trying to post a picture but I can't from my phone I guess

Oil pressure switch would be my first guess, it's located right behind the oil filter housing and a very common failure.

You'll have to get in there and look at it, clean everything up and see exactly where it's coming from.

Awesome I was thinking it would be a seal 😫 I hope you're right I'm going look at that after work. Thanks man!

The other spots are the front main seal on the timing cover, the oil filter housing itself and the oil pan.

But the oil pan shouldn't allow it to leak out all it's oil after one longer drive, they normally just seep and not piss out oil.

The pressure switch when it fails will fail inside itself and push oil out of the electrical connector. When they fail bad they can dump all the oil out of the engine in under a few minutes.

I think you were right on the money with the switch bc it's not making a puddle. It leaks enough that it stays on the bottom of the frame and a few drops gets on the ground. And that switch is in the exact spot that I was talking about. If you look with a flashlight you can see where the biggest pulley is the right side of its a little wet with oil so I'm going to guess that

This is the switch location. The picture shows an aftermarket unit in it's place for the gauge in the cabin but that is where it's located.

so after I got home and looked that sensor/switch was covered in oil as you can see and I was watching the oil drip off of it so I'm pretty sure you were right. Thanks again man I never would've suspected that
